The groomer went to Four Trees yesterday. It is spring time and the snow is heavy. The trails don’t hold up as well in this weather so watch for bumps. lj

The groomer went to Four Trees today and cleaned up the mess at Walker Plains. There’s a turn around at the top of Merrimac for about 5 or 6 vehicles. Do not attempt to go past there for now. The groomer will head to Big Creek parking lot tomorrow. Even though the weather still looks unstable for Saturday we are going ahead with plans for the Play Day. It commences at 10:00 a.m. with lunch between noon and 1 p.m. Hope to see you. lj

The groomer went out today in one and half feet of new powder. The basin is done, the head of cold water, and the cut off road were also done. The back road trail is broken but watch out for a huge hole near four trees. The weather for the play day is not looking good; the officers will make the call on Thursday whether to postpone or not. lj
